In Acts 17, Paul is telling the people of Athens about Jesus... in a really interesting way. He quotes their poets and comments about their art. This would be the equivalent of Paul showing up America and quoting pop artists. He does this so he can make connections that everyone relates with so that they might see Jesus.
So that's what we're going to do. Every week we will listen to and read the words of a song that you picked and talk about what we see. What emotions and longings are being expressed? What questions are being asked, and how does the gospel answer them?
